JOB SUMMARY: This position is located in a state, field, or area office of the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), U.S. Department of Agriculture. Serves as the Agency's Workforce Strategist and ensures the Agency's strategic workforce direction is established, communicated, and aligned with the NRCS and mission area workforce goals. Incumbent represents the Agency in high level strategic human capital planning and execution initiatives in support of the comprehensive workforce strategy. MAJOR DUTIES: Advises Agency leadership on forecasted and changing workforce needs and works with the Agency’s financial manager to determine the overall availability of funds.
