Our main operating facility is located in Pittsburgh, PA, and we operate a satellite facility in Louisville, KY. All the Carylon companies are engaged in similar businesses and share common equipment resources that can be mobilized as necessary for various projects throughout the country.
About the Position:
The Environmental Project Manager for Robinson Pipe Cleaning is a highly visible position, and the candidate must be comfortable working on different projects, leading field employees, interacting with clients and their representatives. Organize all onsite activities at jobsite location in relation to the storage, transportation and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste and other related services following all regulations. Maintains all standards for safety and environmental issues.
Job Details:
Position: Environmental Project Manager
Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Pay: $85,000-$115,000 per year (Negotiable based on experience)

Job Duties:
This role involves overseeing and managing projects related to environmental compliance, waste management, and disposal, ensuring safe and efficient handling of waste materials in compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of waste disposal practices, environmental laws, and project management experience. The Environmental Project Manager oversees project management activities for environmental maintenance services, which include:
- Planning, organizing, and directing activities related to environmental maintenance services projects.
- Develop waste management plans and strategies for safe disposal, recycling, or treatment of waste materials, with a focus on minimizing environmental impact.
- Ensure all waste disposal practices meet federal, state, and local environmental regulations, including hazardous waste management and transportation requirements.
- Develop estimates, proposals, budgets, and schedules.
- Preparing, disseminating, and overseeing project budgets, bids, agreements, and contracts.
- Preparing, negotiating, and controlling project change orders, tracking all project costs.
- Serving as liaison between customers, site operators and employees.
- Monitoring and controlling projects through the direction of on-site supervisors.
- Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to staff, workers and clients.
- Work with dispatchers to assign workers to sites.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in Engineering, Construction or Environmental Field
- Experience with contract administration, project management, budget, and scheduling.
- Proficiency in Microsoft products, including Word and Excel
- Experience in either the municipal wastewater, construction, or environmental field
- Previous project manager experience. (Both field and office).
