This is an exciting opportunity to join a global consultancy that is expanding rapidly throughout the UK. You will work within professional and collaborative teams, all with the same aim of delivering world-class solutions for our clients and the communities around us. On a personal level, you will learn and develop and will have the support to aid your career progression and increase your job satisfaction.
We're looking to build our already successful Infrastructure and Buildings team in the UK and bring in emerging talent to lead our Environmental Lighting Team either from our Reading, Oxford or London office on a full-time basis.
As a member of our lighting community of practice across the business, you will report to the Environmental Team Lead. You will work with multi-disciplinary teams on complex projects, initially focusing on Lighting Impact Assessments across a variety of markets and sectors. There is growing potential for lighting design projects, both in offering solutions to schemes as part of the planning and assessment process and on other projects across all design stages. This forms part of Stantec’s “Designing with community in mind” that looks at both the here and now as well as long term implications of each design as we strive towards sustainable built environment.
While lighting is a specialist field, it can be a very broad discipline. This role offers the chance to demonstrate your expertise in lighting in the context of the planning process, with exposure to the interrelated environmental and planning disciplines and broader lighting teams.
We offer many benefits, including a competitive package, a strong culture of learning and development, and a great work environment.
As we look to further diversify and grow our wider Stantec UK Environmental Services business this role requires an individual who has the experience and skills to sell and grow the environmental lighting business and participate in the recruitment of a growing team.
