The Ideal Environmental Compliance Specialist will have the following:
- A Master's Degree with 2+ years of experience, OR a Bachelor's Degree with 6+ years of experience.
- Knowledge of and experience with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) process and documentation, as well as the Endangered Species Act (ESA), Essential Fish Habitat (EFH), Marine Mammal Protection Act (MMPA), National Marine Sanctuaries Act (NMSA), National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), and the Coastal Zone Management Act (CZMA) as well as related Tribal consultation.
- Ability to work independently with guidance and direction regarding priorities and NOAA processes and procedures
- Strong analytical and communications skills, including oral and written communications; and
- Strong organizational skills.
