The Opportunity
We have an exciting temporary opportunity available to develop, analyse, review, coordinate and advise on climate change policies and strategies related to land use planning and development, including planning related applications, standards/guidelines and adaptation, mitigation and management approaches.
We are looking for an outcomes-focused and passionate advocate for the EPA.
About the Team
The Environment Protection Planning team coordinates the EPA’s strategic and statutory environmental planning. It does this by:
- evaluating strategic land use planning proposals considering the EPA’s legislative responsibilities and policies and working with relevant stakeholders to ensure effective environmental outcomes;
- coordinating development proposals for the EPA and managing high risk planning matters;
- providing input into the development of EPA policies that impact land use planning and development; and
- working collaboratively with colleagues across the EPA, broader cluster, government and non-government stakeholders.
