What You Will Do:
Oversee operations support, including but not limited to:
Operating approval compliance, waste handling, vegetation management, management, and coordination of environmental programs.
Environment compliance reporting and record keeping and regional environmental compliance assurance.
Subject matter expertise for local outreach and stakeholder relations.
Support and manage leak site assessment, remediation, and closure in a timely manner.
Environment Unit Lead role duties within the Incident Command System during regional emergencies and emergency response exercises, as well as subsidiary support to emergency response events throughout the liquids pipeline system.
Oversee environmental permitting and approvals for regional projects.
Who You Are:
A post-secondary education specializing environmental science, environmental engineering, or similar physical or biological science related field.
7 years minimum, 10 years is preferred of environmental experience in the pipeline, industry, or upstream oil and gas sectors.
Effective interpersonal skills, effective written and oral communication skills.
Demonstrated leadership and management skills including the ability to manage the activities and priorities of a diverse group of professionals across multiple locations.
Ability to apply strategic solutions to issues and quickly identify key points from a lot of process information and transition into a practical simplified communication.
Capability in planning, implementing, and leading change initiatives including ensuring adequate change leadership.
Advanced negotiation and influencing skills in sensitive and high-profile situations.
Working Conditions:
Office environment with regular travel (15%).
