Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field, and three years of experience with administering and managing environmental compliance programs. Valid driver's license. A valid driver's license must be maintained for the operation of an OSU vehicle, which is required in the performance of job duties as assigned. Certification in CPR, First Aid, and AED. If needed, certifications will be provided by the department within six months of employment. Additional recertifications will be provided throughout employment as required to remain up-to-date. 24 hour HAZWOPER certification. If needed, certifications will be provided by the department within six months of employment. Additional recertifications will be provided throughout employment as required to remain up-to-date. Ability to communicate well with administrators, faculty, staff, students and others efficiently, effectively and in a professional manner. Ability to analyze complex problems and develop practical cost-effective solutions. Ability to understand and interpret complex state and federal laws and regulations. Ability to operate calmly under emergency and stressful conditions. Expert knowledge of ODEQ and EPA. Ability to communicate well (verbally and written) with good report writing skills. Computer skills to include operation and utilization of various software programs to include MS office.
