EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree in business, environmental science, sustainability, engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
- Relevant certifications and experience (e.g., LEED AP, IECC, WELL, GRI, Living Buildings) are advantageous.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in sustainability, innovation, environmental management, or related field, preferably within the construction industry.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Technology savvy with the ability to learn and adapt quickly.
- Strong knowledge of sustainability concepts including GHG emissions, water use, carbon, and waste diversion.
- Awareness of climate and sustainability regulations and requirements.
- Solid understanding of green building standards and sustainability standards and frameworks (e.g., LEED, ISO 14001, EcoVadis, CDP, GHG Protocol, GRI, GRESB, SASB, TCFD, SBTi).
- Experience in project management, including planning, implementation, and evaluation of new Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, including ensuring deliverable deadlines are met.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and speaking), with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Analytical abilities, reporting, organizing, and archiving processes and deliverables.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment to achieve timelines while holding to high standards of excellence and a constant seeking for improvement.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products at an advanced level.
- Commitment to sustainability and passion for driving positive change in the built environment.
- Able to create and implement change quickly with empathy and team collaboration as well as a positive, proactive attitude/approach.

Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
For Providence, RI and Columbus, OH this ranges from $84,900.00 - $116,700.00 plus benefits and retirement program.
For Chicago, IL this ranges from $88,900.00 - $122,200.00 plus benefits and retirement program.
For Boston, MA and Arlington, VA this ranges from $94,600.00 - $130,000.00 plus benefits and retirement program.
