Mission
At Zelestra, we are looking for a Project Finance Associate to join the LATAM Finance team, based in Bogotá. The purpose of this role is to lead financial planning and analysis for specific investment projects in collaboration with the CFO for Latin America. This position involves preparing financial models, identifying project risks, and preparing presentations for investment committees, in accordance with the standards defined by Zelestra and the business requirements.
Responsibilities
- In collaboration with the Director of Development and Commercial, CFO Latam, and Global Head of Investments, analyze investment projects, their profitability, and key risks in order to prepare cases for investment committees.
- Provide early-stage support to the Commercial and Project Development areas in selecting, analyzing, and evaluating projects to choose those that best meet the Company's investment criteria.
- Effectively manage relationships with various areas of the company to obtain all necessary inputs for project evaluations: Development, Commercial, Project Finance, controlling, EPC, etc.
- Create financial models for valuation, cash flows, and IRRs.
- Work with Development and Project Finance teams to prepare memos for investment committees.
Job Requirements
- University degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in financial planning and investment project analysis.
- Proven experience in preparing financial models for the Energy and/or Infrastructure industry (mandatory).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (knowledge of Macros is required).
- Advanced English.
