SKOL PROS, a division of Freedom PROS—the largest and most successful solar installer in the nation—is seeking a motivated and professional Sales Consultant to join our dynamic and forward-thinking team. This full-time, on-site position based in our Blaine, MN, office offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality solar energy solutions to Minnesota residences. As a Sales Consultant with SKOL PROS, you will work directly with innovative renewable energy technology, helping shape the future of sustainable energy practices in our communities. This role requires a driven, dedicated individual prepared to make an impact in the renewable energy market.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Engage directly with potential clients to effectively present and sell solar energy solutions.
• Evaluate client needs to design optimal solar configurations tailored to individual lifestyles and requirements.
• Generate and follow up on sales leads, maintaining active engagement with prospects and clients.
• Conduct market research to identify sales opportunities and assess client needs in the Minnesota market.
• Negotiate and close deals confidently, handling client objections and fostering long-term relationships.
• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations on Freedom PROS products and services.
• Collaborate with team members to drive sales strategies and achieve targets.
• Track and report on sales progress, consistently meeting or exceeding quotas.
• Stay up to date with new products, services, and features to enhance the sales process.
• Participate in on-site project assessments to ensure accurate planning and client satisfaction.
• Attend workshops and training to strengthen product knowledge and professional skills.
• Develop business plans to achieve both personal and team sales goals.
• Travel within the local sales territory to meet clients and finalize sales processes.
Requirements
• Proven experience as a sales consultant or in a similar role, with a strong sales track record.
• Ability to gain a deep understanding of solar products and the renewable energy market.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, hardworking, and motivated to meet sales goals and deadlines.
• A persuasive, customer-focused personality with a passion for renewable energy.
• Flexible schedule, available to work hours that meet clients’ needs.
• Must have a personal vehicle and be willing to travel within the local area.
• Proficiency in handling complex calculations and problem-solving for pricing and configurations.
• Strong negotiation skills and a commitment to exceptional customer service.
• Familiarity with CRM software and digital sales tools.
• Willingness to work as a 1099 independent contractor.
