SitelogIQ is a world-class team making a large-scale impact on the efficiency and sustainability of the places we live, work, shop, and heal.
SitelogIQ delivers turnkey energy efficiency and property improvement programs that transform built environments and breathe life into the sustainability, financial, and resiliency goals of real estate teams and corporations across the U.S. Our mission is to make buildings better, while making it easy for our clients to accelerate their impact.
Our Director of Business Development, Commercial Solar will be a catalyst for SitelogIQ to develop and scale our Commercial Solar Development and Advisory business. This role will own go-to-market strategy, initial sales, and early pipeline development to build critical mass around this nascent private sector line of business. Initial focus will be on market strategy, prospect engagement through outbound sales efforts and coordination with Demand Gen teams, and pipeline development through execution and optimization of the entire sales cycle. As the solar business grows and matures, this will evolve into a full leadership role.
This role will require a broad understanding of the C&I solar market, a high degree of outbound activity, close collaboration with internal resources and external partners, and strong communication skills as we adjust and pivot our strategy through discovery and market intelligence.
As our business scales and develops, this role will require leadership and people management skills as it becomes necessary to recruit, hire, train and manage direct reports. This will include managing and consistently communicating key performance indicators (KPIs) and using them to drive decision-making and corrective actions.
A strong leader is methodical, adaptable, data-focused, and results driven. It will be critical to pay attention to team dynamics and ensure that inside and outside sales professionals are collaborating effectively, both with each other and with other teams.
