Job Overview:
GE Renewable Is looking to transform the Product lifecycle Management processes and the system landscape to deliver process standardization, reduce costs, increase productivity, reduce handoffs between cross functional teams. Teamcenter Is selected as the strategic PLM platform. The Teamcenter Solution Architect will work with the business leads and internal/external technical development teams to develop best-in-class scalable solutions to address business needs.
Essential Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:
Work with Business Analysts, Business leads, and cross-functional leads to understand business requirements
Gather requirement, Create solution proposals and specification documentation
Configure, Customize & Build solutions to meet business processes and requirements.
Work closely with the Support team and analyze incidents and propose system improvements to provide a better user experience
Collaborate with cross-functional leads and business teams to develop PLM road map
Assure data integrity and provide solutions when inconsistencies are identified
Design integrations in line with the system footprint in the organization
Map business requirements to technical requirements, solutions and designing Teamcenter application landscape
Lead the analysis, rationalization, and integration with multiple legacy applications, other PLM products and defines transitional architecture and roadmaps.
Identify business and technology trends and evaluates their impact on the domain solution portfolio
Conduct platform validation, gap analysis for capabilities and produces Solution Architecture for configurations and customizations.
Participate in all phases of the application development life cycle including research and design, development, testing, implementation and support
Evaluate existing architectures, identify gaps, and propose courses of action to improve stability, availability, manageability, and costs
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Technical Product Manage and/or Business Analysis
A minimum of 10 year of experience in working with PLM domain.
GE Leadership Program Graduates will get credit towards relevant work experience, commensurate to the program they have completed
Desired Characteristics:
At least 10+ years of experience working in Teamcenter PLM with excellent Teamcenter Product Knowledge in the areas of CAD, Item, BOM, Doc, Change, and ERP (T4S) integrations
Ability to map business requirements to technical requirements, solutions and designing Teamcenter application landscape
Excellent Teamcenter Solution Designing for both Client, Server, and integration with third-party applications such as ALM, ERP, LMS, MES, etc.,
Hands-on experience in Active Workspace configuration & customization, custom workspaces, etc.,
Thorough understanding of Teamcenter architecture, Data Model, AWC framework, BMIDE, and other configurations
Experience in Teamcenter modules such as Workflow Designer, Query Builder, Structure Manager, MPP, Change Mgmt., Classification, Dispatcher, PLM XML, Schedule Manager, Access Manager, Document Management, Report Builder, etc.,
Good understanding of CAD Integrations; Preferably SolidWorks Integration Manager (SWIM)
Experience in DevOps tools and overall deployment process
Understanding of installation, configuration, and patching of Teamcenter server and client components, data model (BMIDE) updates, and additional integrations
Excellent coding & architecture skills in Java, C++, Angular JS, and Teamcenter client, server customization, Teamcenter services customization, and SOA client development
