The Project Management Office (PMO) is searching for a seasoned senior project manager who will contribute to the achievement of the organization’s strategic projects and programs.
Reporting to the Vice-president, Transformation Projects and Real Estate, the incumbent will collaborate with the business analysis and change management teams, working in close partnership with a broad range of stakeholders at all levels of the organization in a fast-paced, geo-diverse environment across multiple business divisions.

What you will accomplish with us:
You leverage your senior project management skills to foster the organization’s ability to succeed, learn, and continuously evolve. Subject matter in your field, you are responsible for the end-to-end project management process.
You are accountable for the definition and management of the internal programs / projects under your responsibility. You exercise your expertise in the following areas:
1. Project Management and Performance:
a. Assisting business leaders with articulating new project ideas
b. Planning, leading, organizing, and mobilizing project teams to deliver initiatives that provide exceptional business value to Master
c. Forecasting future resource capacity and reporting on existing resource utilization
d. Deploying a structured approach to project execution for all managed projects, aligned with the PMO best practices
e. Tracking, measurement, and reporting of project KPIs, presenting accurate representations of project progress, health, risks, and challenges
2. Elevate PMO Capabilities: Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the PMO project management methodologies, standards, processes, and best practices that enable effective execution of projects and programs, increase company-wide agility, and support the smooth running of projects undertaken by the organization
3. Stakeholder Management: Build and foster strategic and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
4. Risk, Issue, and Scope Management: Anticipate, identify, and assess risks which impact program and project delivery, ensuring challenges and/or problems are managed in a timely manner through effective mitigation strategies and plans
5. Visibility and Communication: Ensure transparency of program / project performance and actively contribute to the PMO portal, including program / project related communications
6. Program / Project Governance: Ensure that the PMO framework for program / project oversight is respected and followed
7. Team mentorship: Provide guidance, knowledge, support, and coaching to more junior members in the team.

Requirements:
• Formal education in business administration, program / project management, business analysis, change management, and/ or continuous improvement
• PMI certification including but not limited to PMP and PgMP
• Any other relevant certification
• 10+ years project management experience, including minimum of 3 years of experience in successfully managing complex cross-functional transformational programs and projects
• Demonstrated knowledge and ease using project management software including MS Project
• Experience in distribution sector for multi-geography organizations operating both at the corporate distribution level and retail store network, an asset
• Bilingualism both oral and written
