JOB SUMMARY: This position is located at Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial, reports directly to the superintendent and serves as a member of the management team. MAJOR DUTIES: The duties of this position include but are not limited to: Manage complex projects and park assets. Develop scope, accurate budget, and goals for projects. Develop work breakdown structures and work plans to keep projects on tasks. Evaluate need for professional consultation and coordinates this consultation. Comply with NEPA and other compliance, resource management, and interpretation/education requirements related to complex projects. Manage 5-year plans for projects funded through cyclic, equipment replacement and other fund sources. Develop and manage a complex, multi-year budget that includes multiple accounts and fund sources. Supervise and manage facilities workforce to include novice and journeyman level workers. Mentor peers, youth program staff, and volunteers. Use FMSS, PMIS, budget and park partners to manage park assets in a manner that is fiscally and environmentally sustainable. Manage procurement and assigned controlled property. Maintain engagement in current safety training and demonstrates leadership in other safety program initiatives such as Operational Leadership and the Safety, Health and Wellness e-Tool. REQUIREMENTS: U.S. Citizenship required. Appointment subject to background investigation and favorable adjudication. Meet Selective Service Registration Act requirement for males. You will be required to obtain and maintain Contracting Officer Representative certification within 2 years of appointment.
