The Scrum Master will be part of Plant Performance & Reporting department within the Modelling & Analytics module, which consists of 30 employees across several teams and locations. The department is expanding and is expected to grow further by the end of this year. The department works closely with neighbouring departments to ensure seamless collaboration and high-quality deliverables.
The Agile Developments team are responsible for the continuous improvement of various software applications that are critical to both internal and external customers. These applications are developed using SAFe methodologies and are deployed for either centrally in our datacentres or in the cloud. Our goal is to deliver lovable solutions that meet the highest standards of quality and usability.
As a Scrum Master, you will have an important part in facilitating Agile processes. You will be instrumental in removing impediments and ensuring that the team adheres to Agile principles and practices. You will work closely with Product Managers, stakeholders, and team members to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Assist the group in realizing their delivery targets by resolving barriers and cultivating an atmosphere that encourages perpetual progress
- Coach team members in self-management and cross-functionality
- Assisting the group with concentrating on producing valuable deliverables that satisfy the completion criteria
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies according to our SAFe process such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Assist the Product Owner in managing the product backlog and ensuring that the team understands the requirements
- Cultivate an environment where collaboration and peak performance are prioritized
- Ensure that the team follows Agile best practices and principles
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role
- Well-versed in the principles of Agile methodologies, specifically Scrum techniques
- Demonstrated proficiency in leadership and organizational capabilities
- Effective communication and mentoring skills
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver on a common goal
Competencies
- Experience with software development
- Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
- Knowledge of other Agile frameworks such as Kanban or SAFe
- Experience in a DevOps environment
