Examples of Work
Environmental/Natural Resources Program Management level that provides oversight of a natural resources program or programs and oversees the work of professional employees. Work at this level is primarily focused on supervision and program implementation, requiring thorough knowledge of the rules and regulations and the ability to address program related operational issues. It also includes responsibility for the management of program financial resources and establishment of program objectives. Employee supervision includes hire recommendations; training; work planning, assignments, and review; and performance assessment, coaching, and progressive discipline. Supervision at this level also requires these employees to have the knowledge and skills to perform and review the work overseen. May assist with the drafting of legislation.
Minimum Qualifications
Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree and 6+ years of experience.
