We offer an outstanding opportunity to join our team as a Strategic Environmental and Sustainability Compliance Analyst! This role is perfect for those who are ambitious and determined to contribute to outstanding sustainability efforts within the climate technology sector.
The SESC Analyst will focus initially on the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) laws that require that producers maintain responsibility of their products for their entire lifecycle – design to disposal / reuse / recycle. The SESC Analyst will maintain effective data tracking and management systems to support the business in all facets associated with EPR regulations: new product development, regulatory updates (EPR only), and compliance reporting.

This job is based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
We provide a flexible working schedule with the option of working hybrid.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Ensure compliance by verifying management schemes and maintaining up-to-date EPR files and archives.
- Support business units by collecting monthly sales data, updating contracts, and preparing vital templates.
- Apply the EPR Compliance Solution (CMAP) software to run reports, conduct audits, analyze data, verify report accuracy, and develop reports to support New Product Development programs.
- Analyze CMAP available data for WEEE, Batteries, and Packaging against received sales data.
- Produce CMAP scheme reports according to national regulations, submit EPR data/fees to authorities on time, and offer data and financial feedback for the NPD process.
- Assist in preparing Standard Operations Procedures and Work Instructions, support compliance training for staff, develop streamlined processes and software, and expand support capabilities as needed.
For This Role You Will Need:
- BA/BS degree, preferably in engineering, science, economics, or business.
- 1-3 years of experience in a data analyst or related position.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Proficient in English.
- Impressive interpersonal and communication skills, standout colleague.
- Self-motivated and capable of independent work.
- Skilled in multitasking and managing tasks from start to finish.
- Resourceful individual seeking innovative solutions.
- Intermediate knowledge of data analysis and reporting.
- Intermediate knowledge of business process modeling and data flow diagramming.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- 3-5 years of experience in data management or similar positions.
- Experience in data management and software systems.
- Prior Extended Producer Responsibility experience.
- Strong leadership skills.
