Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Associate Environmental Geologist to join our team!
What You'll Be Doing:
- Performs various field and office tasks requiring the application of basic geological principles and fundamental theories.
- Applies available data pertinent to geology and/or hydrogeology, accurately describing and classifying various types of soil and rock samples.
- Provides technical guidance for stratigraphic and groundwater drilling programs.
- Conducts soil, surface water, groundwater, and sediment sampling programs.
- Assists in identifying various types of soil and rock, land forms, and geological processes for use in geological mapping and in performing basic geologic analyses.
- Assists in geologic report preparation, including preparation of cross sections and compilation of environmental sample analyses.
- Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's Degree in Geology or related field
- 0+ years of related work experience

- Familiarity of computer software applications, typically used in geological analyses (e.g., spreadsheets, CAD, aquifer test analysis, etc.)

Salary Range:
