Job Purpose
Monitor & review plant environment parameters, coordinate & facilitate their compliance as per Environment Management System standards & as per Government & statutory Acts, through effective liaison with Govt. agencies and plant people for smooth operation of plant under best environmental conditions.
Job Context & Major Challenges
Major challenges:
Developing sustaining cordial relationship with Govt. Agencies, public and compliance of Govt. Acts with changing policies.
a) To submit Environmental annual audit report to GPCB by 31st Jan 2010. Co ordination with DDIT and related departments in plant
b) To facilitate measurement and sending report of stack emissions, ambient air quality & water quality monthly
c) To ensure compliance of all legal requirement/ Liasoning with GPCB/MOeF related to environment.
d) Submission of reports to Govt. bodies as per schedule (1) Environmental statement for the finacial year(form-V ) Period- Every year in the month of May. (2) Compliance report (Against environmental clearance) Period-Every six month. (3) Hazardous waste details(form-4) Period-Every year in the month of Jan..
e)Liaisioning and coordination with govt agencies and Consultants. Pollution Control Boards, DDIT, Royal Consultancy, MoEF, DoEF etc.
f)Renewal Authorization of Jetty consolidated consents (CCA) Air,Water &Hazardous waste
g)To seek permission from GPCB for storage / handling and usage of alternate Fuels and alternate raw materials of hazardous waste category
h)Implementing OHS ( WCM ) in section for Bronze medal
i) Organise,coordinate maintenance & ensure effective implementation of ISO 14001 system to improve environment conditions in the plant.Monitoring/Coordination of various acts connected to environment under EMS.
j) Bio Diversity Servey for CSI
