SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
The Equipment Operator must be skilled, safety-conscious and thrive in fast-paced environments. The right candidate will be passionate about getting the job done right. You'll be responsible for the safe operation of heavy machinery, including loaders, skid steers, backhoes, and graders. You'll ensure that your equipment is in good condition, follow all safety protocols, and play a critical role in the success of environmental projects across the Permian Basin.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Safely operate heavy machinery, including loaders, skid steers, backhoes, and graders.
- Perform daily equipment safety checks, maintenance, and repairs.
- Keep jobsites clean, presentable, and in line with our with safety standards.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of equipment.
- Work with site supervisors to follow detailed operational instructions.
- Identify and report any equipment issues to supervisors for timely resolution.
- Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience.
- Must be at least 21 years old (ins. requirement).
- Valid Driver’s License and a good driving record.
- Ability to travel to remote jobsites during all phases of a project.
- Good work ethic
- Team Player with a professional attitude.
- Physically able to lift 50 lbs., walk, bend, and stoop repeatedly for extended periods of time.
- Strong commitment to safety
- Capable of passing a pre-employment drug screen and required safety training
