Job Description:
As a vital member of our team, you will play a key role in fostering a world-class EH&S (Environment, Health, and Safety) culture, focusing on environmental compliance and the prevention of workplace injuries.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with team members to identify workplace hazards, report and investigate incidents, and contribute to the development of a comprehensive safety program.
Support the EH&S Manager in leading facility EH&S programs.
Ensure compliance with OSHA General Industry Standards and company standards.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations, policies, and company standards.
Conduct EH&S training sessions for all team members.
Monitor and measure progress towards achieving EH&S targets and objectives.
Timely reporting and recordkeeping for EH&S matters.
Provide triage and first aid in the event of injuries to team members or contractors.
Contribute to health screening processes, health education programs, OSHA recordkeeping, hearing conservation processes, etc.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the EH&S Manager.
Minimum Qualifications:
Previous EH&S experience in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Access, Word, etc.).
Solid understanding of successfully facilitating an EH&S program.
Ability to present and conduct training for team members.
Proactive, enthusiastic, and effective leadership skills.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong teams.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office software.
