We are looking for a passionate professional to strengthen our Sustainable Supply Chains / Human Rights Environmental Due Diligence services in the Central European market. As a Senior Consultant you will support our clients in improving their sustainability performance and in fulfilling their due diligence obligations.
This is an ideal position for an entrepreneurial and creative individual who enjoys taking responsibility. At LRQA you provide personal and targeted advice to our clients, strengthen our presence in the market and develop our product and services. You will be part of the LRQA global consulting team and you will report into LRQA Consulting Europe. You will be supported by our global network and make use of our exclusive EiQ data.

Responsibilities
Human rights and environmental due diligence in the supply chain - Lead consulting projects to support our clients in meeting their demanding requirements by
- working on human rights and environmental due diligence and sustainable supply chain management projects (including risk and impact analyses, gap analyses, responsible sourcing strategies, data and management systems, supplier programs, grievance mechanisms, etc.),
- applying and further developing best practices on responsible sourcing, human rights due diligence and procurement strategies,
- providing ESG and sustainability strategy and disclosure support.
Acquisition and Business Development - expand LRQA's presence in the European market and acquire high-impact consulting projects by
- collaborating in marketing, providing blog and newsletter content, presentations etc.,
- acquiring new mandates and expanding existing clients with a focus on the Central European markets,
- building and maintaining a professional network and working with people from a wide range of sectors, organisations, and hierarchical levels,
- conducting trainings and webinars on relevant ESG trends (e.g., responsible sourcing, supplier engagement, HREDD, Scope 3, TCFD, TNFD, data-driven risk management, etc.).
Qualifications, skills and interests
- entrepreneurial and experienced Consultant with at least 5 years of proven experience in human rights and environmental due diligence, supply chain consulting, sustainability strategy, or similar
- Master's degree in a relevant discipline
- Expert knowledge of responsible sourcing standards and Human Rights and Environmental Due Diligence regulations and frameworks and proven ability to translate this knowledge into needs-based solutions and results
- efficient project and time management
- proven track record of business development and sales activities
- excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills and experience in leading effective workshops and sales pitches
- ability to work in a team and enthusiasm for mutual success
- quick perception and independent working style
- enjoy virtual work - 1:1, in a team and across different time zones - with a strong ability to self-management
- managing various parallel projects motivates you: you keep the overview and use synergies
- professional communication in German and English
