Job description
We are looking to recruitment an Senior Environmental & Social Value Coordinator based at our head of in Bamberbridge.
You will join the team and be report to the Health and Safety Director. You will be responsible for the Environmental Management Systems, Carbon management and Emission Reduction
Location: Preston
Hours of Work: Monday – Friday (40 Hours per week)
Responsibilities – but not limited to:
- To Manage ISO 14001 / 2015 Quality Standard
- To manage ISO 50001 or ESOS for the business
- To manage all carbon exposure of the business and report on the same
- To drive Environmental best practice
- To manage energy and the use of non- renewable fuel sources
- To manage environmental projects and initiatives
- To prepare reports for the Senior Management Team
- To support the business development team in all environmental bids and tenders
- To assist in any environmental investigations
- To co-ordinate any interfaces with the competent authorities in Environmental matters
- To undertake environmental audits and inspections
- To meet the Key Performance Indicators of our clients
- Attendance at meetings – both internal and external when required
- You must have Microsoft Office experience and be able to produce reports both statistical and in written format therefore excel skills are also essential
- Environmental Management Systems, carbon management, emission reduction
- Knowledge, experience, and qualifications required:
- Minimum experience of 5 years of environmental management
- Degree Qualified in Environmental Studies ideally
- Excellent organisational skills and communicator at all levels
- Confident decision maker
- Strong IT skills
- Excellent communication skills and be able to liaise with management at all level
- Member of IMEA
