This position will complement departmental strengths in chemical engineering and sustainable development; Nanomaterials and nano systems for sustainable applications; intensification; data and computational engineering; energy and sustainability; and engineering education. Junior candidates are strongly encouraged to apply and must show outstanding research and potential for excellence in teaching and graduate student mentorship. Senior candidates with exceptional accomplishments in research, teaching, graduate student mentorship, and capstone projects management, are also encouraged to apply.

General requirements:
- PhD in Chemical Engineering.
- The candidate should be comfortable working in a team of both academic and industry scientists.
- Strong written and oral communication skills are essential qualifications, in both Spanish and English. (Minimum English level B2 or 550 TOEFL points)
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: energy, catalysts, CO2 reduction, nanomaterials, intensification, microfluidics, and related fields.
- Ability to prepare funding proposals, experimental plans, and technical reports.
