We are seeking undergraduate sophomore or junior students majoring in Safety Management, Safety Sciences, Environmental Health, Environmental Sciences, or a related field for a 12-Week Student Intern role to be based in Newark, DE for a May 19th - August 8th contract period.
Position Duties:
- Conduct industrial hygiene and exposure monitoring
- Collaborate with environmental managers on natural resource reduction projects education and communication
- Perform chemical inventory assessments
- Coordinate audits and inspections of multiple departments of the site
- Provide support to Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) staff members on project-related work
Position Requirements:
- Undergraduate sophomore and junior students working towards a degree in Safety Management, Safety Sciences, Environmental Health, Environmental Sciences, or a related field. *Candidates must have an expected graduation date after August 2025.
- MS Office experience required. PowerBI is a plus
- Familiar with Regulatory Text such as EPA and OSHA
- Enthusiasm for collaboration, cross-functional projects, public speaking, and presentation design.
- US Work Authorization is required at time of application.
- This role will not be providing CPT/OPT support.
- Ability to report onsite to Newark, DE 5 days a week. This role will not provide relocation assistance, and will prioritize local applicants.
- Minimum grade point average of 3.0
