DESCRIPTION OF WORK
The primary duty of this role involves executing the enforcement policies and procedures established by the Department in relation to the Clean Streams Law, as well as the associated Rules and Regulations that govern Water Quality Management. This includes the systematic cataloging, tracking, and evaluation of annual reports submitted by permit holders of wastewater collection, conveyance, and treatment systems that fall under the program's jurisdiction. Additionally, the position entails reviewing periodic updates regarding the status of corrective actions and connection requests as outlined in a Corrective Action Plan/Connection Management Plan (CAP/CMP), with the authority to recommend the approval of connections based on the assessment of the information provided by the permittee. The role also requires the maintenance of all internal data management spreadsheets to ensure accurate record-keeping. Furthermore, the individual will be responsible for the preparation of various legal documents, including Notices of Violation (NOVs), Administrative Orders, Field Orders, Consent Orders and Agreements, Consent Assessments of Civil Penalty, as well as Consent Assessment and Settlement Agreements, along with settlement letters.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Travel is required for site visits and training.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days a week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Norristown.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of professional experience as a Sanitarian, Air Quality Specialist, Solid Waste Specialist, or Water Quality Specialist; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and/or training which affords the applicant the required knowledges, skills, and abilities.
Special Requirement:
- This position requires the possession of a valid motor vehicle operator's license as issued by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
