Kaipātiki Project is looking for our new Sustainable Living Facilitator. This role is designed to enhance our behaviour change impact by delivering on our Sustainable Living Strategy through effective project management and hands-on delivery of our programmes.
This involves effective coordination, management and delivery of community initiatives, maintaining relationships and collaborating with stakeholders, coordination of staff and other contributors, health and safety, programme evaluation, data collection, record-keeping and reporting.
You will be able to demonstrate:
- People skills, face-to-face communication with individuals and groups, ability to share knowledge and skills, deliver workshops and speaking in public
- Proven project management skills working with multiple projects simultaneously
- Confidence to work respectfully and effectively within te ao Māori
- Confidence to work respectfully and effectively within diverse multicultural contexts, with people of all abilities and ages
- Excellent oral and written communication, presentation and facilitation skills
Fixed term position until 27 June 2025, 24 hours per week, with some evenings and weekend commitments expected, to respond to community needs. Family-friendly with the opportunity to work from home or onsite as appropriate.
