Kroger is looking for current college students who are interested in gaining on the job training, mentorship, and real-world experience in their field of choice. Summer 2025 Rotation Dates: May 19 - August 8.

ResponsibilitiesComplete a semester program in the company's headquarters by working with managers to gain an understanding of the Environmental Compliance group in the Ethics and Compliance department. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.
- Apply theoretical concepts that have been learned in the classroom to hands-on work assignments
- Collaborate with all business sections of the Ethics and Compliance department and other corporate groups
- Assist the Environmental Compliance team with daily tasks and gain an understanding of the responsibilities and work done in the department
- Assist with the maintenance and improvement of business reporting functions
- Conduct store visits to audit retail hazardous waste programs
- Support the team's projects
- Participate in department meetings
- Complete specific assignments
- Complete a cumulative project (summary of accomplishments) and present it to the executive team and appropriate managers

QualificationsMinimum
Pursuing a degree in environmental engineering or environmental management preferred, must be actively pursuing a degree at an accredited college or university with a preferred GPA of 3.0
