The Fraud Specialist will play a key role in identifying, assessing, and preventing fraudulent activities that impact Signature Solar and its clients. This position requires strong analytical, research, and communication skills, along with the ability to work with discretion and confidentiality. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal and external partners to review flagged transactions, resolve complaints, and ensure compliance with company and industry regulations.

A successful candidate must be able to:

Conduct research and recommend solutions for review and assessment.
Perform an initial review of complainant submissions and partner with team members to fulfill the end-to-end process.
Follow written risk and compliance policies and procedures for business activities.
Review flagged transactions for fraud indicators.
Work with discretion while maintaining the confidentiality of Signature Solar and its clients.
Communicate effectively with internal and external partners via email and phone.
Stay current with system changes, new technologies, rules, and regulations required by SEFCU vendors and the EFT industry.
Prepare monthly fraud loss write-offs for management.
Report any instances of non-compliance to the appropriate management team.
Research and resolve outstanding items within a reasonable time frame.
Perform project-related tasks, including research, written communications, business case development, and other activities as assigned.

Qualifications:

5+ years of data entry experience using multiple systems.
Experience in complaint resolution and customer service.
Prior experience in a high-volume fraud or support role.
Knowledge of or experience with SQL or other relational databases.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access) and Google Suite.
Five years of equivalent combination of related experience or education.
Experience working across time zones.
