- The total compensation range is $20-$24/ hour. Actual compensation on this range varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, prior experience, and skill set.

JOB PURPOSE:
Receive, store, and distribute material, equipment, and products within warehouse by performing the following duties. Ensure the accurate, efficient, and safe delivery of merchandise to job sites and customer’s warehouses. Maintain a high level of customer service.

Warehouse Duties 30%
This is a full-time (40 hours a week) position, that will work 8 AM - 4 PM, M-F.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Provide quality service to customers using clear communication skills.
· Be knowledgeable regarding all company products and services.
· Learn and execute all warehousing tasks using WMS including Waerlinx and NetSuite.
· Count, verify and put away incoming orders and shipments.
· Manually pick, pack, and ship product/orders using handheld scanners and WMS
· Verify and help load orders on outgoing trucks.
· Verify and help load outgoing orders onto customer vehicles.
· Inspect loaded truck for accuracy of order, compliance with weight restrictions, and proper securing of load.
· Perform DOT-required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
· Maintain accurate records for submission to Fleet Department and DOT.
· Ensure safety of vehicle; report all mechanical problems promptly to Fleet Department.
· Ensure safety and proper performance of helpers on company property, job site, and in transit.
· Ensure use of proper safety gear, including high-viz vests and steel toe shoes.
· Maintain neatness and cleanliness of warehouse.
· Maintain inventory in appropriate/designated storage areas in warehouse.
· Utilize forklift/pallet jack for moving inventory
· Performs delivery duties as needed.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
· Valid driver’s license
· Satisfactory driving record per company policy.
· Maintain valid DOT Medical Card, including DOT physical and drug screening.
· Highly organized and self-directed.
· High level of customer service.
· Good listening, reading, verbal and written communication skills.
· Adept at problem solving, high attention to detail, and time management.
· Proficient math skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
· Ability to communicate and build associations with all levels within the organization.
· Basic technical skills for data entry, internal/external communications, etc.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
· High School Diploma or general education degree (GED).
· Forklift experience required; certification preferred.
· Previous commercial driving experience preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is:
- Regularly required to stand; walk; use hand to finger, handle, touch, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
- Frequently required to climb or balance.
- Occasionally required to sit.
- Able to move 2,500 lbs with a pallet jack.
- Frequently and repeatedly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs individually and up to 150 lbs on team lift.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is:
- Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; outside weather conditions; and vibration.
- Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
- Willing to travel between 5% to 10% of the time.
