What we’re looking for:
Nexamp is growing their Corporate Development team and seeking to hire a Solar Development & Diligence Associate in support of Nexamp's asset acquisitions and targeted growth strategy. You will be responsible for assisting the Channel Development team to establish and cultivate relationships with development partners in pursuit of strategic project acquisition targets and internal KPIs, focused on supporting project development and due diligence efforts.
This role is expected to be hybrid out of our Boston office. You will report to the Channel Development Manager.
What you’ll do:
- Support solar and energy storage project development & due diligence efforts on behalf of Channel Development team across active and target markets in advancement of annual project acquisition goals and KPIs
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills, responsiveness, and a proactive approach to learning and growing within the clean energy space.
- Assist managers as needed and collaborate across teams
- Monitor seller and partner edits/changes to diligence trackers and notify managers of any updates; as learning curve advances, contribute to developing appropriate diligence responses to support acquisition completion
- Administer state-by-state market diligence checklists as market needs continually evolve, and perform periodic updates by seeking fresh input from managers
- Coordinate and produce quality actionable meeting notes, including meeting transcription AI tools and monitoring of quality tool output.
- Organize and polish file naming conventions in SharePoint.
- Enter and monitor case requests in SalesForce
- Transfer documents from data rooms and email attachments to SharePoint during active diligence periods
- Populate and update permit trackers in SalesForce.
- Organize and maintain SharePoint folders for co-located projects, ensuring all necessary materials are included
- Conduct routine downloads of live diligence trackers and associated documents for various deal types
What you’ll bring:
- Interest in learning about larger clean energy industry trends and coordinating with multiple groups within Nexamp
- Strong organizational skills, and thorough attention to detail required
- Demonstrated ability to balance competing priorities and manage multiple projects
- 1+ years experience in clean energy preferred
- Bachelor’s or relevant experience required
- A collaborative mindset and a willingness to learn from others.

- Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating information, ideas, and perspectives with people inside and beyond your organization.
