About the role
We are seeking an Product Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience working in the CAE industry and will bring an in-depth understanding of the value proposition of simulation. The Product Manager sets the direction for the Modelon’s flagship product’s content.
What You will do
- Own investment decisions in Modelon’s content for the Modelon Impact platform, including but not limited to system models, engineering workflows, library partnerships, training content and help.
- Work closely together with Modelon’s product development team to establish on both short and long term priorities in a structured manner, and deliver the requirements for efficient execution.
- Assess business opportunities with Modelon’s sales and customer delivery team, in the various industries that Modelon serves.
- Support sales with value argumentation and go-to-market.
- Identify and collaborate with lead customers to build a product for a larger market.
What You will bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Knowledge of CAE tools and the competitive landscape.
- Knowledge of the value proposition of simulation in at least one industry, multiple is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with following structured processes.
- Previous experience in product management.
- Desire to exceed expectations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and listen to customers.
- Analytical mindset able to act on data and against personal biases with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
