The Production Operator I is responsible for operating assigned equipment safely and efficiently to ensure quality production. Tasks may include placing and testing electrical components, cleaning finished products, or loading raw materials into machines. This position is available for either the Pitman Day shift (6 am to 6 pm) or Monday-Friday Day shift (6:30 am to 3 pm).

Key Responsibilities

Operate automatic and semi-automatic machines as assigned.
Clean and prepare workstation and machines.
Assemble and test components, ensuring they meet specified requirements (soldering experience is a plus).
Perform basic electrical and continuity testing of components, parts, and systems.
Identify and mark acceptable and defective assemblies.
Inspect final assemblies for quality, labeling, and proper packaging.
Record production data and ensure efficient operations.
Follow established company policies, procedures, and labor laws.
Complete other tasks as needed.

Skills

Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Ability to distinguish colors accurately.
Proficiency in reading and following work instructions in English.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Production experience preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Starting hourly wage: $18 per hour.
