Job Description
Job Title: Team Lead – Project Management (Transmission)
Objective:
• Lead centralized project management across multiple transmission projects with specialization in Sub-stations
• Ensure on-time or ahead-of-schedule delivery by proactively identifying and resolving critical project issues.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for efficient project progress monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee end-to-end delivery and monitoring of transmission projects.
2. Implement and manage contract and supply chain activities.
3. Prepare and validate project cash flows, ensuring alignment with budgetary constraints.
4. Ensure smooth coordination with internal teams (Engineering, SCM, R&D, Finance, etc.) and external stakeholders (EPC partners, OEMs, developers, and statutory bodies like RLDC, SLDC).
5. Manage risks, contractual deviations, and escalate issues related to vendor management or project delays as necessary.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Engineering graduate with 17+ years of experience in the transmission sector.
Key Financial and Team Aspects:
• Responsible for cash flow management and project costing.
• Team Size: 4-6 members, with PAN India operations.
Decision-Making Responsibilities:
• Consult manager for cash flow approvals, contractual deviations, and stakeholder communication.
• Independently manage project delivery, resource allocation, and risk mitigation.
Challenges:
• Managing external stakeholder relationships, controlling project schedules and costs, and overseeing resource management across various project sites.
