About the Role:
As a Senior Systems Administrator, your success will be driven by the following performance objectives. You will be responsible for administering Crusoe’s core business applications, with a focus on OKTA and automation, ensuring compliance and security within the IT Tech Stack.
Performance Objectives:
Administer Crusoe's Enterprise-level user management systems:
Own the administration of Crusoe’s core business applications (including OKTA, Google Workspace), ensuring all systems are managed and supported for optimal performance. Your success will be measured by maintaining high reliability and user satisfaction.
Become the primary OKTA administrator, mastering OKTA features and automation:
Manage all OKTA-related tasks and ensure that the platform is used to its fullest potential, including automation features. You will champion the adoption of new OKTA features and enhancements, driving innovation in user identity management. Success will be tracked by implementation timelines and overall system efficiency improvements.
Achieve security compliance and governance standards across all business applications:
Ensure that OKTA, Google Workspace, and other core applications comply with Crusoe’s security policies and corporate governance. You will work closely with the Compliance Team to conduct audits and resolve any identified gaps, maintaining 100% compliance across all platforms.
Automate at least two critical manual processes using OKTA’s built-in automation features:
Develop and implement automation rules within OKTA to eliminate manual tasks and enhance system efficiency. Success will be demonstrated by measurable improvements in workflow speed and the reduction of manual errors.
Handle all escalated ServiceDesk tickets related to end-user management and OKTA:
You will take ownership of all escalated issues related to user management and resolve them promptly. Success in this area will be measured by reduced ticket resolution times and positive user feedback.
Document Crusoe’s IT infrastructure, including detailed troubleshooting guides:
Create and maintain accurate documentation on all office systems, including user guides, knowledge bases, configuration docs, and system diagrams. Your documentation should be easily accessible and updated regularly.
Stay ahead of OKTA’s roadmap and implement new features and updates annually:
Continuously monitor OKTA’s new features and proactively adopt updates that enhance the platform’s capabilities. Success will be demonstrated by your ability to incorporate these features into Crusoe’s IT systems seamlessly.
Contribute to the overall uptime and reliability of corporate platforms by working closely with the Systems Engineering team:
Collaborate with your team to ensure that Crusoe’s corporate platforms are running smoothly, with minimal downtime. Your contribution will be measured by platform uptime metrics and successful collaboration with team members.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience plus 5+ years as a Systems Administrator or Systems Engineer.
OKTA Consultant Certification and experience as the primary administrator for IAM and Identity Management.
2+ years of experience with OKTA Compliance and Governance tools (e.g., Campaigns) and OKTA Access Request Workflows.
Hands-on experience managing hundreds of SAML, OIDC, OAuth apps within their IdP for large enterprises.
Expertise in OKTA expression language and demonstrated ability to write custom code.
Deep knowledge of RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) with proven success in real-world implementations.
Advanced knowledge of Google Workspace (Enterprise), including OU’s, policies, and security-related settings.
Strong experience in performing audits in collaboration with Managers and Compliance Teams.
Proven track record of leading security initiatives and implementing secure processes.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with a strong ability to collaborate across teams.
Self-starter with a collaborative mindset, who can also take initiative in identifying and resolving challenges.
Ability to embody Crusoe’s values of sustainability, innovation, and teamwork.

Compensation Range
Compensation will be paid in the range of $120,000 - $150,000. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicants knowledge, education, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
