How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation: - Develop and administer various human resources plans and procedures for all company team members; participating in developing department goals, objectives, and systems
- Development and implementation of business processes in new areas
- Maintain and oversee benefit renewal and compliance for US, Canada, and International, including workers' compensation and COBRA
- Maintain and oversee HRIS systems, payroll, and benefits administration for US, Canada, and International
- Multi-state, Canada, and International payroll, tax, regulations, and benefits experience
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing to include but not limited to base pay, hours worked, payroll taxes, benefit deductions, etc.
- Support month, quarter, and year-end processes
- Regulatory compliance and reporting for payroll, benefits, leaves, workers compensation for multi-state, Canada, and International
- Perform benefit administration to include claims resolution, invoice approval, and annual re-evaluation of policies for cost-effectiveness, information activities program, and cash flow
- Prepare and audit payroll processes for the most accurate information
- Run and process payroll with support and collaboration
- Administration of compensation and benefits
- Support affirmative action program, EEO-1, maintaining other records, reports, and logs to conform to EEO regulations
- Establish and maintain department records and reports; recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in the efficiency of department and services performed
- Work with an unconventional team that prides itself on creative approaches to human resource practices and processes
- Great communication skills that can build strong relationships with internal and external teams
- Proactively take initiative and makes decisions confidently
- Manage risk and changing the direction of projects and strategies
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in HR/Business Management/Finance or related field preferred
- A minimum of 10 years related HR experience, at least 7 of these years focused in payroll, multi-state taxes, and reporting, international taxes and reporting, and benefits management
- Thorough knowledge of HR principles and federal/state/local regulations and laws and ability to stay current on laws and regulations that would impact the business
- Highly analytical, accurate, and detail-oriented
- Excellent ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy, fast-growth environment
- Proficiency in Google Suite, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is essential
- Strong knowledge of payroll and benefits across the US, Canada, and International preferred
- Experience in Payroll and HRIS systems such as Paylocity or something similar
- Exhibit extraordinary discretion, flexibility, and willingness to work closely with various teams
