NCE > SBU NCE Service > Main Component Exchange
The Vestas Northern Central Europe business unit is responsible for the Sales, Project, Installation and Service of wind farms throughout the NCE region.
The Main Component Exchange department is part of the Special projects team and is responsible for safely planning and executing offshore scopes across the NCE region. In this role you will be part of a highly agile team that is working to secure and meet our customers' expectations. In the capacity of Site Manager, you are responsible for delivering the project on time, following the required standards and keeping a high HSE performance.
Responsibilities
- Take charge of every element of the project, ensuring tasks such as scheduling, risk assessment, stakeholder coordination, procurement, and communication are handled efficiently, with an emphasis on ongoing enhancement
- Responsible for overseeing the work of sub-contractors by allocating and utilizing resources in an efficient manner, maintaining a co-operative and qualified team
- Responsible for the day-to-day communication and alignment with stakeholders
- Acting as an ambassador for Vestas, Offshore Service, and sub-departments
- Contributes actively to building and maintaining good work ethics and team spirit in Special projects and the wider Vestas community
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we believe that you bring the following experience:
- Professional experience from a similar industry or role
- Experienced in operational project management and risk management
- Contractual and commercial acumen
- Product understanding
- Fluent in English
- Experience with Stage Gate model (Prince2, PMI or similar) and/or offshore logistics including managing BIMCO Charter Party / Wind Charter is a merit

Additional information
The primary work location is Aarhus, Denmark but could also be located remote or in another office in the Vestas NCE region. The role requires approximately 40 days of travel per year.
