What do you get to do in this position?
- This position will be a First Shift position.
- Inspect all incoming materials and products to ensure quality standards set are being met by all suppliers.
- Enter Incoming Inspection data results into SAP and SE Quasar System
- Communicate with Supplier Quality Engineer to resolve quality issues
- Inspect materials being shipped to other Schneider locations
- Support manufacturing line through providing audit support
- Perform First & Last Article Inspections as needed to support new suppliers or product lines
- Support in-house product testing requirements
- Support the production part evaluation process
- Participate in Board of Change Activities Document Control – and Quality System Management
- Integrated ISO Management System Audit support
What qualifications will make you successful?
- Associates Degree Preferred - - experience with measuring equipment and systems required
- Certifications an advantage including Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer, Quality Improvement Associate, Six Sigma
- Quality inspection, auditing and test experience
- Experience with implementation of corrective action programs
- Product or industry-specific experience
- Strong computer skills including SAP, Microsoft Office, and Databases
- Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of QA
