These positions are located in Yosemite National Park, in the Strategic Planning and Project Management Division. Salary Range GS-12: $87,208 - $113,366 Salary Range GS-11: $103,701 - $134,815 MAJOR DUTIES: Determines detailed project objectives and key milestones, cost estimates, schedule for deliverables, staffing needs (in-house and contracted), budget requirements and fund sources, task orders, reporting requirements and standards for project quality and timely completion. Responsible for all phases of project development from pre-design through construction for complex projects spanning multiple years involving sequencing of overlapping operations, a high degree of political visibility and oversight, significant resource issues and complex problems requiring creative solutions. Manages the technical, financial, personnel, on the ground contract oversight, and customer service aspects of assigned projects and serves as the central point of contact for all project issues; is accountable to the Division Chief for the success of the project. Establishes and manages a small to medium sized interdisciplinary team that assists with planning, design, and construction oversight to ensure protection of park resources and successful completion of project for all stakeholders.
