JOB SUMMARY: The incumbent will serve as a member of the New York NRCS State Leadership Team and participate in formulation of overall operations for the State. Responsible for managing field operations, associated programs, and budget formulation and execution for an assigned area of New York state. Relocation Incentive payment of $20,000 ($10,000 upon relocation and $10,000 after a year) with three-year service agreement may be authorized as allowable by Office of Personnel Managment (OPM) and USDA. MAJOR DUTIES: Utilize quality improvement processes, field office and/or managerial unit appraisals, field inspections, reports, and results obtained by subordinates to develop, analyze, and implement improvements to field office and/or managerial unit operations.
