Vestas Offshore Service, Japan is part of the overall Offshore Service Business in the APAC region responsible for maintenance and repair of our wind turbines. The operational Service hub in Japan is located in Kitakyushu-Hibikinada where this role will be based however travel to Tokyo as well as locations inside and outside of Japan should be expected depending on the business priorities.

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Service Manager on the site. Your will be responsible for carrying out turbine related administration responsibilities related to the day to day operations of the wind farm, including meetings with customers, submission of reports, data handling and documentation. Your responsibilities also include contributing to the continuous improvement of turbine performance, and optimising the site operations both onshore and offshore.
You will also be responsible for:
• Timely, accurate and cost-effective coordination of technical and safety training activities
• Administration responsibilities including but not limited to:
• Availability data verification
• Create, process and follow up on purchase orders
• Liaise with local vendors (ordering parts, tools and materials), internal departments, and customers
• SAP activity (work time approval, spare part identification and ordering)
• Organise component transportation
• Order necessary equipment and consumables for the onshore site facility
• Support with issuing of site inductions and supporting visitors
• Support the creation of the annual site budget and monitor the monthly expenditure
• Organise local meetings
• Cover for and limited support the Warehouse Coordinator during busy periods
• Liaising with the training department, coordinate courses and maintain training certification is up to date for onsite personnel.
• Assist onsite personnel with visa applications and travel arrangements
• Monthly report creation
Qualifications
• Possess administrative experience
• Japanese and English speaking
• Are a skilled user of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), and you have experience with SAP preferred
• Have a full driving license
• Safety conscious

Primary work location: Hibkinada (Fukuoka Prefecture) site. 5 days a week.
