The Position:
Rad Pros seeks an experienced Environmental Scientist/Engineer to lead oil and gas consulting services in Northeast Colorado. This full-time role involves both in-office and in-field work, with plans to open a Greeley office. The successful candidate will oversee ECMC compliance, remediation, and spill work plans, including site assessments and sampling in the Denver-Julesburg Basin, with potential expansion into mining, rare earths, and water treatment.
Responsibilities:

Regulatory & License Compliance – using your exceptional knowledge of and experience with ECMC rules related to remediation/reclamation and spill response work in Colorado, lead our initiative to better support oil and gas operators with exceptional management of Forms 27 and 19 and the requisite assessment, sampling, and analysis required to complete these forms.

Client Relationships/Business Development – use your experience and exceptional relationships to bring initial work to Rad Pros.

Report Writing – use your exceptional written skills and proficiency in Word, Excel, and/or Google Docs to generate impeccable reports for ECMC and our clients. Help Rad Pros create report and database templates that enhance and bring consistent, quality reports for our customers.

Manage Data – Review, retain/file, and report all findings and summarize and organize large sets of data. Leverage your understanding of statistics related to lab work to interpret results, standard deviations (confidence intervals), MCLs, LDLs, etc. Support any data warehousing requirements, identify and revise reporting requirements, and assist with all initiatives related to data integrity and QA/QC.

Client, Lab, and Regulator Interface – Use your people and organizational skills to interface with clients positively and constructively to assist them in improving their regulatory compliance programs, as well as the ability to work cooperatively with regulators, subordinates waste facilities, laboratories, and scientists. Excellent communication, integration, and follow-up between parties are required.

Manage Multiple Priorities – Manage multiple projects simultaneously, integrating with and holding team members accountable for excellence and timeliness in meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

Templates – Work with our IT Director and the Director of Environmental Sciences to create template reports that expedite quality deliverables for current and future clients to realize efficiency and QA/QC gains.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in the Sciences, Health Physics, Environmental Sciences, or a related field
- Extensive experience with the ECMC/COGCC and their regulations of Forms 27 and 19.
- Experience with and filling out Forms 27 and 19 is a requirement.
- 2-10 years of experience preferred.
- Ability to understand client needs and communicate well with others
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in oil & gas, water treatment, laboratories, radiochemistry, waste management, or brokering required
- Excellent typing and data management skills
