Qualifications
Education: Requires a relevant Bachelor’s Degree Training: HazWoper certification (40 hours) (must be able to certify within 120 days if not presently certified); Proper OSHA training, radiation safety training sufficient to become accepted as Assistant RSO on the ODH Radiation Safety Isotope license. Laser safety and DOT certification preferred. Experience: Requires a minimum of 2-4 years experience working in environmental or relevant sciences. Higher education experience a plus. Previous work with Health physics measurement devices. Radioisotope experience. Previous laboratory or industrial hygiene experience. Successful background check and drug test required due to access to sensitive University data. Must be able to lawfully maintain an Ohio drivers’ license.
