What you'll be doing as a Environmental Practive Manager / Environmental Manager
As a environmental manager you will aim for a continuous reduction of the environmental impact of the National Trust’s food & beverage operations, by identifying best practice and implementing innovative initiatives. With your colleagues you'll develop and launch toolkits, guidance and frameworks that support operations teams in improving their Conservation Performance Index and reducing energy consumption.
You'll need to have as a Environmental Manager;
- Knowledge of key aspects of environmental practice in food operations, including waste streams, raw materials, energy and water use
- Good understanding of the latest innovations in environmental practice
- Ability to commission and respond to external/internal research, intelligence and analysis
- Understanding of the challenges of management of multi-site food & beverage operations
