The Environmental representative position is responsible for working on a variety of diverse environmental programs. Assisting with compliance, which include Encino Energy’s policies, as well as local, state, and federal regulatory requirements. Assist with providing regulatory and technical advice to Encino’s management. The position reports to the Waste and Water Coordinator.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
· Complete industrial field investigations.
· Ability to collect environmental data and relevant documentation pertaining to potential health and environmental concerns.
· Oversight of remedial activities, as needed or required.
· Inspection of facilities to monitor progress and ensure conformance with company policy, regulations, and safety standards.
· The ability to organize and tabulation data, as well as review and interpret data relative to health significance and environmental impact.
· The ability to prepare and present environmental information and reports.
· Assist in developing and facilitating the implementation of EH&S standards, policies, programs, and procedures in compliance with applicable local, state, and federal rules and regulations.
· Assist with maintaining environmental records and documentation.
· Respond to business unit EH&S, supervisory, and employee inquiries regarding company / division policies, procedures, and programs.
· Help prepare training materials relevant to assigned EH&S standards and projects.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· Attention to detail.
· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
· Ability to work independently in the field in varying weather conditions with strict adherence to operating procedures and safety policies.
· Demonstrate interpersonal skills capable of interfacing daily with management, field, and contract personnel to build networks within Encino Energy and externally with service providers.
· Technical degree (science, engineering, or related field).
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Teams, SharePoint, and Excel.
Education
A technical bachelor’s degree (science, engineering, or related field).
Classification
Full-Time, Exempt, Salaried.
Relocation
This position is eligible for domestic relocation.
Travel Requirements
The percentage of travel anticipated for this position is 5 – 15%.
Work Environment
This job is mixture of professional office environment and field operations.
Work Schedule
This is a full-time position and typical hours are Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The employee will be on call 24 hours 7 days per week.
