Under the leadership of the Health, Safety and Environment Manager, the advisor provides advice and support for the implementation and follow-up of the company's health, safety and environmental management projects and programs.
RESPONSABILITES AND DUTIES
1- Implement environmental action plans and programs
- Ensure the implementation of an environmental management system framework;
- Participate in the development, revision, implementation and management of environmental policies and procedures, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, and see to their application;
- Apply for certificates of conformity or authorizations, and prepare professional opinions.
- Manage the environnemental audit program;
- Carry out environmental awareness activities;
- Assess environmental risks and recommend mitigation measures;
- Prepare environmental reports for competent authorities;
- Management of residual hazardous materials;
- Represent the company before the relevant authorities and/or stakeholders on environmental issues.
2- Health and safety risk management
- Collaborate in the development, design and implementation of occupational health and safety management systems for Pharmascience various departments;
- Identify risks in different areas of the company and suggest means of mitigation and prevention;
- Provide technical support to the company's various departments in the drafting of task safety analyses, incident investigations and the implementation of corrective measures;
- Audit sites in accordance with regulatory requirements, validate compliance with health and safety standards, and adapt prevention plans;
- Act as trainer for several health, safety and environmental training courses;
- Write health and safety instructions and procedures.
