Clean Water Action is currently looking to hire a core team of motivated individuals with a passion for progressive social change to fill Community Outreach and Canvassing positions. This role involves organizing efforts surrounding Clean Water, Environmental Justice, Waste Reduction, and Community Health in Western Massachusetts and Connecticut communities.
For over 50 years Clean Water Action has succeeded in winning some of the nation's most important environmental protections through grassroots organizing, expert policy research and political advocacy focused on holding elected officials accountable to the public. As part of our staff, you would organize communities around these vital issues. Responsibilities include one-on-one communication, education, fundraising, generation of letters to lawmakers, and good record keeping. The fall hours for the work are from 2pm to 9 pm Monday through Friday. We are currently interviewing for part/full time positions starting immediately. We provide a comprehensive benefits package including medical insurance, dental insurance ,opportunities for travel within New England and throughout the US; and the potential for long term growth within the organization.
This is an in-person position. Proof of vaccination will be required for applicants. All staff are required to wear masks while together in company vehicles; KN95 masks are provided. All staff members must have a valid US work authorization.
