POSITION SUMMARY:
Assumes responsibility for ensuring alignment of global EH&S systems. The Global Director of EH&S coordinates communications with entity leaders to understand current state, identify any gaps, and leads the plans for implementing best practices. Through leadership role in industry associations, the Global Director of EH&S understands and communicates global regulations and restrictions affecting MFS and the metalworking industry. Assumes overall responsibility for Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS). Coordinates SDS development and toxicological testing of fluid products. Coordinates corporate response to regulatory matters involving health, safety, and environmental affairs. Supports global sales by addressing end-users inquiries related to health, safety, and product disclosure. Oversees site safety written plans, safety improvements, and training of employees to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations.
