Your new role
As our new Senior Project Engineer, you will take the lead on complex engineering assignments, developing comprehensive strategies for managing environmental projects and providing solutions for civil infrastructure and environmental challenges. In this capacity, you would also be responsible for conducting technical analysis, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations while overseeing project implementation from start to finish.
Your new team
You will be part of our dynamic Environment & Health Market Engineering Resources Team in the Americas, where you will work alongside a dedicated group of professionals to shape and execute multifaceted projects. Your contributions will span diverse industries such as data centers and pharmaceuticals, engaging multiple clients across the continent in high-energy endeavors. Beyond project collaboration, you’ll also enjoy social interactions with Syracuse-based colleagues from different markets, fostering a vibrant community spirit. .
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Lead innovative engineering designs and strategies that enhance sustainability and efficiency, applying your expertise to complex environmental remediation and fast-paced civil engineering initiatives, ensuring adherence to both client aspirations and regulatory compliances.
- Champion interdisciplinary collaboration, bringing together diverse talents from engineering, geology, and environmental science to deliver cutting-edge solutions to pressing environmental and civil engineering issues.
- Drive project execution from conception to completion, overseeing details to align with scope, timeline, and fiscal projections, while providing mentorship to emerging talents within the engineering team.
- Spearhead client relations and project development, utilizing your insightful industry knowledge to cultivate trust and secure future business opportunities for long-term organizational growth.

These include:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Environmental and 8+ years of qualifying
- engineering experience working in the engineering/design field
- Possession, eligibility or interest in obtaining professional engineering license
- Mastered engineering fundamentals and in utilizing various computer software packages and
- engineering and design equipment specific to the engineering discipline of expertise.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Works very effectively in teams and at times is a primary team coordinator

At Ramboll, your base pay is only part of your overall total compensation package. At the time of this posting, this role is likely to be compensated at an annual base salary between $93,800 - $106,000. Actual pay may be more or less than the posted range, depending on numerous factors, including experience, geographical location, internal equity, market conditions, education/training and skill level, and does not include bonuses, overtime, or other forms of compensation or benefits.
