Job Title: Enviro Project Manager
Location: Shelbyville, KY
The successful candidate will:
- Spearhead and oversee environmental projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to IPL and industry standards and regulations.
- Coordinate with internal teams (customer service, commercial, planning, purchasing, assembly & distribution (A&D), and operations) to set and adhere to project timelines, resources, and deliverables.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related matters, consolidating information and facilitating communication between functions.
- Partner closely with the A&D team to ensure internal activities align with external requirements.
- Identify potential bottlenecks in the project lifecycle and implement solutions to mitigate delays and risks.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
- Collaborate with the commercial team to ensure all opportunities are reflected in CRM to ensure proper capacity planning and project execution.
- Apply proven techniques and principles to draft and create successful tenders, ensuring alignment with IPL�s strategic objectives.
- Take full ownership of assigned tenders and bids, managing them from inception through to submission and post-award activities.
- Identify upcoming tender and bid opportunities through monitoring of sites, portals, and internal channels.
- Review and analyze past projects to identify areas for improvement and innovation.
- Continuously develop the bid library by writing new content, refining existing materials, and incorporating feedback from previous bids.
- Implement and manage a comprehensive contract management process to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Monitor communications channels for new opportunities and disseminate relevant information to the team.
- Review and understand bid documents to organize and lead kick-off meetings.
- Liaise with customers post-award for contract finalization, feedback, and ongoing follow-ups.
- Raise and monitor tender clarifications, ensuring timely responses and resolution.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date bid tracker, providing weekly updates to the team on upcoming and outstanding tenders.
- Prepare and present project status reports to senior management, highlighting key achievements, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Assist in content writing for bid and A&D literature across IPL�s North American businesses, ensuring consistency in process. Standardize the forms and develop clear communication channels across all internal business teams.

Essential experience and skills:
- Bachelor�s degree preferred, or relevant work experience.
- Proven experience in project management within the manufacturing industry, preferably within the plastics industry, with a focus on environmental projects.
- Strong understanding of tender management processes and contract management.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-driven with a continuous improvement mindset and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to make effective decisions under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
